The Viridis Testnet is now operational with a full set of tools for users to explore and utilise our chain. While Viridis expects the basic functionalities to operate efficiently, we aim to treat the Viridis Testnet as a testing hotbed as we continue to develop actively on the platform.
As our userbase continues to expand, transparency with our community is increasingly important to us, hence beta builds on testnet will be produced open source. In addition, we strive to leverage our growing network to spot bugs, issues and make the tokenization process as seamless as possible. As our total users grow and the community begins to interact, any concerns and UX feedback will be treated with the upmost priority.

Our team of developers will be using the Testnet RPC for testing and experimentation. However, it is not just the Viridis team that can build on our platform. As the chain is EVM compatible, the majority of Web3 developers are easily able to transfer their skills to build on our Testnet!

Users are able to participate with any popular DeFi wallet, including Metamask and TrustWallet. Furthermore, in this testnet phase, there is no bridging required from ETH mainnet; instead, the faucet covers all fund needs.
